Functional Scope

We operate globally to identify top quantitative talent for hedge funds, merchant houses, and proprietary trading firms. We have an excellent track record as quantitative commodity research headhunters, recruiting quantitative researchers, developers, and traders across commodities, including energy, metals, emissions, and agriculture products. We specialize in sourcing candidates who can combine fundamental analytics with quantitative expertise and coding skills to enhance trading insights or quantitative commodity research individuals who have created and are able to create their own systematic trading strategies. We also work with our clients to identify quantitative developers with commodities expertise to drive the creation and maintenance of commodities trading infrastructure and quantitative commodities research tools to enhance their edge within the market.

  • Portfolio Managers and Speculative Traders: We work with hedge funds and commodities trading houses to identify individuals who utilize cutting-edge, quantitative commodities strategies to generate profitable PnL in both the physical and financial markets. We have existing relationships with senior-level talent and are continuously developing relationships with junior-level talent across products and geographies. We have also successfully completed several meaningful commodities quant team lift outs.
  • Quantitative Researchers: We work to identify quantitative commodity research professionals with experience in quantitative or quantamental strategy creation. Our fully-systematic clients utilize our expertise as commodities quantitative research recruiters to identify candidates with expertise in alpha generation – including signal research, backtesting, and implementation, to create and improve strategies.
